I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERT"yeah! I've always been able to carry people around, but its really, really hard to hold on when you're in the sound waves 'cause they bump you all around the place and there's also nothing to really hold on to," Ali explained, then taking in a big breath of air. That was a long sentance. "Its complicated," she added, making things feel a bit more understanding and simple, though it wasn't. That's how she lost Shy. He let go and ended some place else.
Then Abel responded to her food question and Ali lit up. Yay! She could help again with the added bounus of the ride later, which she really looked forward to. She's never seen, much less riden a horse before. Would Sky like it too? Because she had to admit, even though her power was the fastest way, it wasn't the easyist way. And when you were seperated, you have no idea where the other person would be dropped off at! If they missed one opening, it'd take miles to find another. She sighed. The ocean was fun, though, so might as well risk it, she thought.
"Follow me, the!" Ali exclaimed as she skipped her way through the city. After ten minutes of skipping -and only stopping once in a while to see if he was still following- she reached her safe house. It wassnt much, just an old chinese buffet shop that had weathered away over the years of wild Remnants and...well, weather. Now, it was just the bare strutre and debris. She walked through it all and found a latch to a metal door on the ground. Pushing aside some dry wall...stuff, she opened the door, revealing hundreds of canned items. And two can openers.
She pulled out two cans of mixed fruit, a can of some kind of fish, two cans of baked beans and three cans of green beans. She opened the cans, closed the door and sat down in the debris before she ate some of the fruit, finding herself a bit hungry too, but not too much. She patted a clean-like spot for him to sit at as she pulled the dry wall back over the door. Didn't want anyone else to find the food, did she?
"Eat up," she told him with a smile as she finished her can of fruit and waited for him to start. That was enough food, right? Like...the calories and stuff was a good amount, but if not, she could put back the extras if they weren't opened. Any opened leftovers would be hers to snack on for their was to the meeting spot.

Ali looked happy, and that was good. He followed after her. He walked at a steady and even pace, but his long legs had strides that could keep up with her easily enough. It helped that she waited for him every now and then. Of course her skipping had put a small distance between them, but that was fine as long as he didn't loose site of her.
Whenever she went around a corner, he'd pick up his pace just enough to catch up to the corner before she got to far. Eventually she stopped and began moving something on the ground.
By the time he had caught up, she was already set up with a few cans of choice.
He sat down when she gestured to him and picked up a can opener. He had never seen one before, or cans... food was always brought to him in his room prepared.
He was almost surprised that food wasn't brought to him after he had escaped. Still, seeing her do it helped. He picked up one of the cans that had colorful pictures on it, but he couldn't read the words, and mimicked her movements. The can opener really only could have fit on the can one way, and he figured it out easily enough. It was fruit inside.
"Thanks for the meal," He said to Ali in his pleasant tone.
He thirstily drank some of the juice inside and let some pieces of fruit slide into his mouth. The juice was strong, it actually being syrup and persevering, but he liked it anyway. It still felt 'bad' for you, but better than starving. The fruit themselves were still good, thanks to the syrup and tasted great.
He set a half empty can aside, and picked up a smaller can with fish on the side.
"Hope you don't mind, I'm really hungry," He said as he opened the second can. The can opener didn't work so good this time around. But he did notice a handle like tab on the top of the can. He scratched at it a few times. He got his finger under it and then ended up pulling on it. The top of the can peeled off, exposing some white meat packed into the can.
He would have preferred to heat it up, but didn't know where they could find a stove. He knew they didn't have time anyway, since her Sky was waiting. He ate the fish meat, and drank the fruit syrup. He ate what was left of the fruit for for desert.
"Thank you... you saved my life a second time," He said deciding he was finished.
"I won't ask you for more of your supplies... but... aside from leftovers from the old world... there has to be some source of food out here... What else do you eat?" He asked her. He needed to know how to fend for himself. If she taught him that, she would save his life every time he found his own food.
"Of course, I'll give you a ride whenever you need," He added.
ooc- BTW, just in case you weren't there at the time, Tears said that clothes do not go with you when you transform.

I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERTAli waited for Abel to finish eating. He only ate the fruit can and the fish one -which she couldn't help but to giggle as he tried to open it- but didn't want much else. Strang, she thought, me and Sky usually eat more, but maybe he just has a really small stomach. What had he eaten in Acris? Was he given the scraps from his master's plate or three meals a day? Well, either way its going to change up here. You could go days without food, at times, or find a roaming animal that wasn't infected yet( yes, there are some still out there).
So, when he decided not to eat any more, she put them back, but kept the baked beans. It would make for a nice meal on the beach. Oh! And if they managed to catch a fish or two, it'd be even better! Finding firewood would be easy, just a little ways away from the beach and they could have a bonfire, too. Oh, this was going to be so much fun!
"Oh, how to get...regular food?" Her body asked as her mind was on the beach. She snapped back and began to think. "Well, um...I don't know much. You could find some berries around, they grow just about everywhere this time of the year. Wild vegitables grow, too, but theyre a bit harder to find. Though, if you get lucky, you have a chance at fresh potatoes or carrots or some that grow above ground," she said. "Sky might know a thing or two better for hunting, so you could ask that," she said with a shrug. Catching live animals to kill and eat was never much of her forte.
She ignored his words about a ride. Yes, she was excited, but she didn't want to waste any more time. So with two backed beans cans, she began to walk. The tower wasn't far from here and the record player was on the second floor, above the reach of simple minded Remnants seeing as there were no stairs to climb. As she walked she hummed a song. Just a random tune from the back of her head. Soon, she realized, it was the song from the record player.
"Come on Abel!" She chimed as she ran to the tower where she jumped up onto a file cabnet and reached her hands up to grasp a little bit of a rope. Quickly, she pulled herself up through a hole in the ceiling, which was the floor of the scond floor.
"Sky!"

The truth was, Abel had felt guilty eating her and her partner's food. He would have eaten more otherwise, but he'd have to learn how to fend for himself sooner or later. He couldn't just depend on this little girl and her friend for the rest of his life. Otherwise, he might as well have stayed with his master.
"I see... I never thought that those things might be out here," He explained. He would keep an eye out for vegetation from now on.
He followed her, but didn't get to give her a ride. She moved too fast for him to take his clothes off and transform. Surely with teleportation abilities she has become accustomed to traveling by her own power.
He just accepted this and followed her. She climbed up a rope into a building, and he thought that it was quite ingenious.
He mimicked her actions again, but this time was weary of his weight difference. He tested the rope's strength, and deemed it to be secure. He climbed up after her after that.

Ali must be worried sick. She probably believes that Sky slipped away from her and got lost in the sound waves, but the truth was he just let go.
He was torn between being with the girl he loved, and the idea that he might loose control and hurt her.
He sat alone, in a dark corner, high up in the recording building. It was not the room that they were supposed to meet in, but instead a nearby room. He was still torn between his strong desire to see her again, and staying away from her for her saftey. So he sat in the dark, clutching his legs and burying his face into his knees. Where he was in the room, you could not see him from the hallway, but it was close enough so he could hear Ali when she made her way to the meeting place.
He made sure to remain absolutely silent, as he desperately made his decsion.

I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERTthis wasn't right. He wasn't here, so was he still coming? Was he dropped really far away and was still making his climb here? It only took her thirty minutes to get here with Abel, but before that she had made an hour long hike down the crumbled road. And if he'd lost himself in the soundwaves and appeared in a different spot then he should have a longer journey. Still...she had taken a good chunk of her time to help Abel.
"Sky?" Ali called hopefully. "I guess he's not here..." she said, her voice and body language showing much disapointment as she sat down. The ground was dirty and a few bugs cralwed around. Even bits of the ceiling had fallen onto the water-stained carpet. She set the cans down on a clean patch of carpet and crossed her arms. If he wasn't here, she would wait unltil he came! If Abel wanted to leave, continue on his own quest to the ocean, he was more than welcom to! But she wasn't leaving this place until Sky came here!
She stood up and looked at the record player. It was ancient and she always wondered how it survived. She took of the glass case off it and put a record on it. She started it up and it began to play some upbeat music from before she was born. Then again...she didn't know when she was born so it made things a bit confusing.
Sitting back down, she looked up at Abel. "Feel free to do whatever here. The second floor is pretty sturdey but watch out for the bugs," she said, loosing a tinge of her faked childness.

Abel had to duck below some long hanging debris in the hallway, and the ruined tower really didn't make him feel comfortable.
But the whole place did have a child like innocence to it. Its not like they were living up here, it was just a secret spot. It might be a little dangerous, but that's what made it a bit exciting as well.
With Ali's powers, she would at least be safe... probably.
Abel enjoyed the new experience as a whole, and took note of his surroundings, but then he noticed Ali had come to a stop in a certain room. He looked to her and noticed how disappointed she was that her friend wasn't there.
He kept smiling, for her sake, and walked up behind her. He was about reach out and put a hand on her shoulder, but she moved to the record player just at the last second. She put on a song that Abel had never heard before. He walked over to the machine and examined it. He didn't feel comfortable touching it, feeling like he would break it if he did.
"Wow... this thing is incredible," He decided changing the subject would be best.

Sky heard Ali's familiar footsteps as she made her way to the meeting spot. His mind went blank and all he could think of what rushing to see her. He knew it would be like this in the back of his mind, and that he was just fooling himself trying to decided, but something was... different.
There was someone else! Someone had followed her here.
'Ali, you beautiful fool!' he screamed in his head.
He quickly, but cautiously stood up. He quitely headed towards the meeting spot, peeking around each corner. His eyes grew wide when he caught a glimsp of what looked like a man move around a corner towards the meeting spot. On the back of his neck was clearly the serial number of a New Child of all things.
'Damn! New Children kill us Remnants!' Alarms went off in Sky's head as he thought what could happen to Ali. With out her... what would he do? He quickly, but cautiously followed them.
They were at the meeting spot, and he was hiding around the corner of the entrance. They seemd to be talking... was the New Child waiting for him to show up, before he attacked? It would be possible if Ali mentioned him and he overheard.
He had to save Ali, he just had to, but how...?

I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERTAli watched Abel with watchful eyes as he neared the record player. He kind of looked...afraid of it. Why? It was just a piece of junk that did something to her advantage. She didn't understand why humans prized stuff like this, but at least their obsession over old stuff kept this thing intact so that she could use it for some real usage besides just looking at.
She stretched her arms and legs before crossing both, resting head head on the wall behind her. Hm, she had a strange feeling of...oh never mind. She had just felt a little needy, that's all, but for a second there she kind of thought she knew where Sky was. She waited a few minutes before getting up and leaving the room.
There, she saw Sky. But why had he been hiding? She looked back at Abel and then stepped out of view of the door to an area where there was no holes in the wall.
"Don't worry, he's not a bad guy," she told Sky worriedly. She wouldn't have brought Abel here if he didn't seem like a good guy. He just seemed a little...pathetic. Well, down in Acris, he might not be so useless but up here barely anything down there mattered. It didn't matter if you could create the cure to cancer, but once you came up here survial was all you needed to do.
"Why are you hiding?" she asked. If he was, then not telling Abel might have been the better thing than yelling out Sky's position.

Abel listened to the music, nodding his head to the beat. There was so much he didn't know, so much he had never experienced. If he had never left his master's stable, would he have ever known any of the world?
It had only been a few months, and yet he already knew so much more and had done so much more. The world was fresh and new to him again, and he couldn't wait to see what was next.
But all of it was marred, by the fact that he knew that there were many more people who are still just like he was. In fact, when he escaped, he had left two other New Children who were owned by the same Master. They had rarely spoken though, having been kept in separate rooms, and only rarely did clients request or could afford two of them at once.
He sat down and turned to talk to Ali, but she was gone. He was worried at first, but then again, she was more used to this place and the wasteland than he was. He still felt a bit worried about her for some reason, probably because he still thought of her as a child. He doubted she had ditched him, bringing him here and telling him that story about meeting a friend. What would it accomplish if she was just gonna leave him here. She probably had to take care of some business or something.

Suddenly Sky's heart skipped a beat, it seemed like she was heading this way and leaving behind that other. He told himself to be patient, and silently called out to Ali, for her to run to him so they can escape.
However, before he could grab her and run, she assured him that the man was safe.
"Are you crazy?" He yelled at her, but in a whispering voice... so it wasn't really yelling... more of an urgent whisper.
"That's a New Child... and he's carrying a military uniform," He said looking past Ali, back towards the door she came from. Not a bad guy? He couldn't comprehend that.
"He's tricking you... we need to get out of here, and we should make the building collapse as we go," He said to her urgently.
"I know exactly which support beams we have to take out. It'll be easy if we combine our powers," He was referring to his Assault Aria and her Sonic Boom powers. Together, they could be quite fearsome. He would turn up his volume to the max, and send it to her, and then she could catch it and amp it up as much as she could, and then she'd practically have a mini nuke to mess up their target. Talk about an awesome jam session.
OOC: What do you think of having "Jam Session" be an unofficial Combo Attack?

I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERT"What?!" Ali said, suprised, but quietly. There was a chance that Abel played her like a fool. She gave him water and let him eat some of the canned foods of the old world and...and he offered her a ride! She couldn't -wouldnt- believe this, it just could not be true. He was so nice and, plainly enough, stupid to do something like decive her.
"No, no, no that's just....no, it can't be," she said, taking a step back from Sky. She didn't want her trust to have been misused or taken to someone's advantage. the idea of not having the ability to trust anyone ever again scared her. She was a trusting person. Without trust, she was just a person. A person who could still beat people up with the power of sound, but it was still the same.
"He's not tricking me, Sky," she said to him, her voice accidently raising a bit. If Abel hear, she didn't care, because then he'd come over and prove to Sky that he was a good person. "I don't...really know how to explain it but he's not bad. He ran away from Acris. Do you think he came up here, alone, to kill off random Remnants for the heck of it when back at home he has food and shelter and friends and..." she said, being cut off by tears. Yeah, she was a bit of a cry baby, but she had accidently gotten worked up and said the things she wished for most: a home, real meals, loving friends. But, really, why would qa New Child randomly come up here, and if he did have friends why did they leave him there to die of hunger and thirst?
She forcefully stopped crying by clamping her jaw together and crossing her arms."I'm sorry," she muttered. She tended to get a bit too worked up over somethings. It wasn't his fault, he just didn't know what she did about Abel. "Come on, meet him. If he attacks us we can use our Jam session, it won't be much of a biggie," she said, acting as if it were nothing but she knew if they used it too close range then it'd cause some damage to them too, but she could just wisk herself and Sky away if she had to. Even though Abel was nice, Sky meant more to her, but that never meant she'd kill someone innocent just because he didn't trust like she did.

Ali was crying. That was the last thing he wanted.
"No, I'm sorry... Ali..." He said moving closer to her. He reached out to place his hands on her shoulders.
"Listen... t-they... they sent him here. They sent him up here to get us. The humans... they create these soldiers with their science and they make them do their dirty work for 'em. Humans are evil like that," He explained. He didn't want to make her sad anymore, but he felt like he had to protect her.
He thought that was what he was doing, he thought they were in danger. His mind was creating paranoid fantasies that were fully believable to him. His fears were based on fact, and he really believed in them, that’s why they might have been as convincing as they were.
“We have to get out of here… We have to…” He begged her.
Abel, had indeed heard the commotion, and moved go see what was happening. When walked into the hallway, Sky looked up to him with fear stricken eyes. Abel looked down to Sky with a pleasant smile and was about to introduce himself, but Sky introduced himself first.
He stepped around Ali, and pushed the man back. He made sure he was far enough away from Ali, so that she would be safe, and then screamed at the man, “IMPACT,” he called out, evoking his Assault Aria ability.
Abel was caught off guard and sent flying backwards, slammed by the invisible force of his strike. The impact was blunt, but heavy. It slammed into his impressive body and lifted him up into the air. He flew a few feet and slammed into the ground. He bounced along the ground for a bit, before finally coming to a stop. He groaned, and struggled on the ground, but didn’t get up right away.
Sky turned to Ali and asked her one more time, “Come one… lets run!”

I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECERT"fine, we'll go," she told Sky after he egged her. If he didn't want to talk about this, she wouldn't. She'd just go with him, but she would not let this go, it would hang over his head until he would realize Abel was not a bad guy, but there was no real way to convince him and, finally, she managed to see why he was afraid. They'd been running from New Children and Humans for what seemed like forever. She shouldn't blame him, this was just his way of protecting tthem.
Finally, Abel came out and for one second she thought things would sort themselves out, that Sky would see the positive side, see that Abel ment no harm. Instead, Sky attacked the New Child, sending him flying across the hall.
"No!" Ali screamed. She should have seen it coming, but...damn, she was blinded by her own damn thoughts that would never be true. No, Sky was protective and Abel was weak, what she though wouldhavenever happened. Why had she brought Abel here? She should've left him after the food. She should have never brought him here.
Then Sky came back, telling her to run. She stole a quick glance at the New Child. A million thoughts messed with her head, but only one came out. "I'm sorry Abel!" she yelled as she turned to run. Finding an open window, she jumped, using the sound of the record player to use her Sonic Bbom downward to break her fall. She landed with ease and looked up at the building. Rubbing her arms, she whispered, "Darn, I left the beans up there."
With little time to waste, she waited until Sky came down and ran, but where to, now? She felt like nothing happened, like evertything she did today hadn't mattered. It hadn't mattered she saved a life, now, now things were back to normal with Sky. Truthfully, she could not ask for anything more.
Eventually she stopped, catching her breath. "My head hurts," she whispered as she sat down.

Abel groaned, and forced himself to his feet. He heard Ali scream, or at least he thought he did. His hearing was shot. He could swear he could hear a continuous ringing sound in the background. He saw Ali run off, with the another blond child as he struggled to get up.
Ali had jumped out the window, but Sky stopped at the window. "Ali... I can't fly you know," He called out after her. His Assault Aria didn't work like her Sonic Boom. They were short bursts of power. Once he sent out that first burst, the rest of the sound he would try to continue would be much weaker or have no force at all. Maybe Ali didn't know this yet. He hadn't exactly told her, but he had used his power in front of her... though... the situation never called for this. He was kinda surprised to find out she could do that with her Sonic Boom.
But it wasn't like he could ask her to fly back up to him. He just turned and ran down the hallway, towards where the rope way out was.
The New Child was already up, though.
"Wait!" Abel called out as he saw the young boy disappear around a corner. He chased after the boy, his long powerful legs making quick strides. He chased after the boy, slowly gaining on him. The kid was fast too, and in these cramp space with many turns and obstacles, it was difficult for Abel to bring out his full speed. He had to duck under this, run down these stairs, hop over that, avoid this, squeeze through here, and jump down this hole, and the kid seemed to know all of these obstacles from heart. Was this Ali's friend, Sky? He questioned as he chased him.
Just when he thought he would catch the child, he turned a corner and the boy was standing there waiting for him.
"The second... IMPACT!" He called out, and another invisible wall slammed into Abel. He put up his arms to guard this time, but it did little to soften the blow.
The building shook, and his ears complained heavily, as his body was struck and thrown back. He slammed into the wall of the hallway, but this time his legs managed keep himself up.
"W-wait..." He tried to call out again, but he couldn't hear his own voice over the ringing.
Sky walked up to him with a grim look on his face.
"The third... IMPACT!" Sky screamed again. The force of the blow dug Abel into the wall he was pressed up against, sending crack along the walls and ceiling. He had thought he had let out a scream of pain, but couldn't hear it.
Abel crumbled along the wall, coughing up blood.
"The final... IMPACT!" Sky screamed down at Abel. One moment he was crumbling against the wall, in the next he was flying. Through the air. He had been sent through the wall he was resting against, and out the building. He flew through the air and fell from about a story. Thankfully during the chase, they had gone down several floors already, but the fall was still horrible.
He slammed against the ground, once again bouncing several times before coming to a stop. He had tucked his arm and knees in, to protect them, but lost his form after he first made contact with the ground.
He stayed on the floor for a few minutes this time, his entire body aching in horrible pain and his ears ringing loudly.
"Che... not as bad... as... when the clients liked... it rough..." He said to himself on the ground, but could barely finish the bluff. He tried to stand again, but couldn't do so just yet.
Sky jumped out of the hole he had created and looked around. It was easy to spot Ali's hair. She had already gotten a good distance away already. Good. He ran towards her, hoping that would be the end of it.
When he reached Ali, he stretched out his hand to her and smiled.
"Lets go?" He said, sure they could escape now.
