History:
He was once friends with Jonathan and his, at the time, newlywed wife, Ashley Patrickson long ago. Ashley had been killed by a remnant at the age of 19, nearly a month after she was married. Jonathan and Sampson were already good friends at the time, and that tragedy helped the both of them become what Sampson is today, and what Jonathan was before he died.
When the New Child project started up, the two of them thought about joining it together, and very quickly, both of them got the job. Jonathan ended up being in a higher position than Sampson by the time he had retired, only after a half year working on the project; he retired just a year before he died of sickness, 5 years older than Sampson. Sampson then proceeded to climb the career ladder, and stayed on the project, and was so involved in his work, that he had not seen Jonathan after his retirement; he never thought death could be that close.
While the government claimed most of Jonathan’s unwilled property, including Adia, Sampson managed to take claim over the photo album. In it, were Jonathan’s final statements and wishes, which Sampson swore to himself to keep secret until he felt the time was right, since none of it had much to do with property.
