Of course the thought of lying to Adia to gain her as an ally, crossed Abel's mind, but he didn't even consider moving forward with it. Honesty was always the best policy. An ally gained like that would not be worth the trouble.
But there was so much information to go into... where to start.
"Oh... I didn't realize you had forgotten that much..." He thought out loud.
"But, it'll probably come back to you... with time," He quickly added. He didn't want to depress her.
"Well... Honestly I don't know much about you. I just met you today... or maybe its yesterday by now..." he said searching his memories.
"I know that you and I both come from a city called Arcis," He finally said something concrete. He had decided to start from the beginning.
"Arcis is the last city of humanity... and you and I are artificially created creatures made by humans to be their slaves," He explained, albeit his explanation was a bit biased.
"I escaped from my master, and you were sent out here by your masters... I think you were supposed to kill a Remnant," He finished his rather long winded explanation.
After he finished he looked to her, and added, "I'm sorry... I know that's a lot to take in. Are you okay?"

And They Shall Reign. - ✝ - “Arcis,” Adia thought for a few moments, “Arcis rings a bell… I don’t think I should go back though… I just… am getting a bad feeling.” When Adia was created, it was illegitimate. A mad man, hell bent on taking revenge on his fellow human beings, had falsely commissioned her construction. This man was on the research team, and had programmed most of Adia’s DNA by the time she was finished. Using brilliant methods passed down from his grandfather, he managed to hide away secrets such the knowledge of human history, the ability to read and write, and a deadly super-weapon code named “Cerberus,” all within Adia’s genome.
- ✝ - Fortunately for her, these secrets were never discovered, if they were, she’d have been destroyed before even waking up. As a result; however, she is blissfully unaware of most of these secrets, and they can only be triggered by certain combat situations or key phrases. Unbeknownst to her, one such secret command was that if she had ever found herself outside of Arcis, she should stay away. That one simple command was put there as an instinctive defense mechanism: if Adia was ever found out, and escaped; or if her true creator needed to hide her outside of the city, she would stay away until more powerful.
- ✝ - Initially, Adia had already lived, and had some-one she called Master back in Arcis, so most of the secret codes would never become active; but after a memory loss, her secret genetic codes have found some way to start triggering instincts outside of her normal pattern, the first of which was triggered by the concept that Arcis was a place, and she wasn’t there. While her memory is extremely limited, her emotions and her soul itself remain unaffected, so while she generally acts and reacts the same on an ideological and emotional standpoint, her actions may not necessarily follow suit.
- ✝ - “We should leave the mountains though,” Adia said, “There’s no telling when the next freeze will hit, and we probably don’t want to be here when it happens.” She climbed up out of the snow pit that was slowly freezing itself again, and held a hand out to pull Abel up. “I think,” Adia said as she did so, “Yes… you do look familiar, and I recognize you… I just don’t remember you… It’s like this dream I keep having…” “The Dream,” she thought for a moment, “How is that I can remember that… but… I’ll figure out sooner or later.”
Forever and Ever.

Abel reached up and took Adia's hand and climbed out of the makeshift bath with her help.
"I don't think that there will be a blizzard as bad as that one for awhile, but you're still right," He agreed with her. One day he hoped to return to this mountain. At that time, hopefully he wouldn't be so helpless.
His clothes were wet now, but with Adia's new fire ability, he didn't worry too much.
"Yes, lets go... but where to?" He wondered out loud, even though he knew she wouldn't have an answer.
"Well... if you don't want to go to Arcis... I can show you around the wasteland. I'm still getting familiar with it, but... I wager I know more than you," He said in a friendly tone.
It was a bit odd to see Adia not want to go back to Arcis, when she was so hell bent on obeying her master before.
Maybe this will be a good thing for her. The idea of starting over on her own might have been to painful for her, but now she's practically got no choice but to start over. Maybe this way, it'd be easier for her. Truthfully, he'd hoped she would stay away from Arcis as well. He'd hope she'd stay with him.
