Actual Age: Approximately two months. Apparent Age: Late teens-early twenties. Gender: Male Sexuality: Asexual Animal: Maned sloth Skills: Evanescent: The ironic part about Xenon's nickname is that it might be true. He is capable of subliming into a gas; in this form, he is translucent, and intangible. He cannot be directly touched or harmed while in this state. Xenon can go through walls, people, objects, water, and other solid or aqueous solutions while in this state as well. He is also capable of expanding himself over a space, by pushing his particles farther away from his body, although it doesn't seem to pose much actual use yet. Light Bulb: As the name suggests, Xenon is capable of lighting up like a light bulb. Literally. His entire body glows brightly, bluish or lavender in colour. The light has electrical discharges which are capable of electrocuting those who are too close while the power is activated. The light itself can blind whoever looks at it. Master: The Reinhart family. Purpose: S-132B's original purpose was to serve in the labour force. However, halfway through his creation, the scientists realized that they did not have an adequate amount of "strong animal" DNA, such as elephants, cougars, tigers, and the like. Deciding they would rather replenish the low supplies of DNA, they prepared to terminate the project. However, before they could do so, they received a New Child application from the Reinhart family, who needed one to help with their children and generally be a "companion". Remembering S-132B's blueprints, they added a "C" to his ID number and made him into SC132B, implanting maned sloth DNA within him. Summary: A young man who simply. doesn't. care. Relationships: The Reinhart Family: -master- Xenon is the Reinhart family's New Child pet. He does what they tell him to do. He "babysits" the children when he must. All in all they have a fairly good relationship, considering that Xenon doesn't care to argue. Inventory: MP3 Player + Headphones -- A gift, given to him by one of the three Reinhart children; it contains several music files, although he rarely listens to them. It's more for aesthetic value than anything else. reserved Weapon: reserved History: S-132B's creation was requested by the labour force of Arcis. The humans were too physically weak to do much of the labour that was required, and they tired too easily. Creation started soon after the application was sent in. However, it was soon evident that S-132B was not meant to be, since the scientists were more concerned about the lack of physically adept and strong animal DNA than the labour force. They decided that, in order to conserve their resources, they would terminate the S-132B project to clone and replenish their DNA. Just before they could do so, however, they received an application from the Reinhart family. They wanted someone to serve as a companion for them, and to help them take care of their children when needed. Thus, SC132B with maned sloth DNA was born. He quickly assimilated into the Reinhart household, which might have been a given considering his nonchalant, blase personality. At least, the family thought, he was reliable. He was incurably lazy, certainly, but it was better than being a snobbish prick who didn't listen to anyone at all. SC132B's impassiveness grew so infamous that one of the children, who happened to be studying chemistry, dubbed him "Xenon", one of the unreactive noble gases. The name stuck, and he has been called "Xenon" ever since then. At some point, he was (illegally) taught how to read, so that he was capable of absorbing information and helping the children with their schoolwork. This could similarly be simplified to "he simply doesn't care". Humans, other New Children, and even Remnants don't concern him. Remnants are mild nuisances, New Children even more so. Humans are a subject of great fascination and curiosity for him – other New Children may view this as an infatuation, although it is simply his interest in interesting things. Humans are interesting – and therefore, he is interested in them. New Children and Remnants, on the other hand, are all the same bunch of louts.
