Apparent Age: 24 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Animal: Jumping Spider Skills: Seeker Senses: Due to 9’s animal DNA, he has the ability to see four primary colors: red, green, blue, and ultraviolet. This allows him eyesight unlike anything any human could possibly image, including the ability to see through substances as dense as lead; and to see stains and marks that have been cleaned, erased, and completely bleached out for years. In other words, if you got a bruise when you were 5 years old, he could see it. He can see through your skin to your bones and internal organs, and can easily identify your weak points. He can see your footsteps from about 5 years ago; and he can also tell how hard you pressed into the ground. He can see pretty much anything that doesn’t have the ability to manipulate light around itself, and even then, that individual might not pay attention to ultraviolet light. Venom and Toxin Master: 9 can formulate a practically endless amount of venoms in any of four venom glands in the top and bottom of his mouth. He is particularly fond of a few that he’s mastered over the years. The first is a neurotoxin that nullifies one’s perceptive senses of sight, sound, and smell in as little as 45 seconds. The second is a deadly heart-stopping venom that can stop a human’s heart in 5 minutes. The third is a venom that targets the throat muscles, causing them to close and suffocate a victim in less than 10 minutes. The fourth one is an acid based venom that circulates in the blood stream until it ruptures every vessel; unlike the others, this may take several days. The last one is a freezing concoction that invades the blood stream with a chemical that causing one’s blood plasma to literally freeze in a process that can take up to 30 minutes. He can also whip up antidotes for each of them, and is fond of poisoning cutting or stabbing weapons. Master: Rogue, wastelands Purpose: Originally, his purpose was to be an infantry New Child; but a general (now dead) grew particularly fond of him and bought him from the government, upon which time he added the C to his serial number. Summary: A deadly, cold blooded hunter who oddly enough serves the good of humanity. Relationships: General Aaron: - Former Master – Aaron was a good friend of Sampson’s when he was still around, but he was killed by a Remnant in a routine sighting. As a result, 9 fled, and no-one knows why. He got away easily due to his animal form being the size of a quarter. Sampson: - Friend – No-one knows what their relationship is exactly, but IC009B appears in Sampson’s papers time and time again, so it is generally believed that they assisted one another on occasion. Unknown Remnant: - Friend – A remnant recently captured and killed in Arcis. Inventory: A leather satchel that he made himself. A very detailed map of the wasteland. Weapon: A foot and a half long steel dagger. History: He was made to be an infantry NC, but a general named Aaron took a liking to his abilities, and made him his personal soldier, adding the companion class to him. He apparently knows Sampson, and has worked with him on occasion. After Aaron died, he fled the city for unknown reasons. *Project X Info.* Secretly, IC was told to go out into the wastelands to find something on behalf of a vision that the awoken X new child had. No-one knows much about the vision, but IC is out in the wastelands looking for a wandering human from the X NC’s vision that they know nothing about. Sampson leaves him new information in the form of regular objects by tossing them out to be sent to the junkyard, and inscribing the symbol XIC somewhere on it. IC does not go into Arcis himself, but sends a remnant friend of his to fetch the object for him. The object has no information that anyone else can decipher, but because of 9’s incredible senses, he can see all kinds of information that others can’t. During his involvement in project X, IC has learned to read and write as well.
