Name: Emery Bristow; called “Em” or “Ri-Ri” as a nickname. Her family calls her “Stitch”, which is an inside joke.
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi-curious
District: Northern District
Canon?: Parliament, chair three
Summary: A childish genius who is too happy for her own good.
Relationships:- Aimee Bristow: -mother- Aimee was the artist of her family. Writing, painting, drawing – she could do them all, and do them splendidly. Even knitting, sewing, all matters of hands and crafts. Emery can easily remember the fun times she spent with her mother, like when she tried in vain to teach her daughter how to stitch a hole in her shirt. Aimee is a famous writer and painter.
- Aaron Bristow: -father- Emery doesn’t have a very close relationship with her father, mostly because he was never really at home. However, whenever he is around, she usually tries to chat it up with him and learn about his job. (she doesn’t even know what he does.)
- Nick Bristow: -older brother- Her brother, older by twelve years; she doesn’t remember much about him, really. He was bitten by a Remnant when Emery seven, and from that point on she hasn’t seen him. She doesn’t know whether he is alive or not, and she doesn’t know if she cares very much.
Inventory: Weapon:- A dagger, hollow inside with a pin-sized hole at the tip. The dagger is filled with fatal poison, which she by coincidence is immune to.
History: Emery was born into a family that had everything. They had money, a mansion, and everything a family could wish for. Food on the table, everyday, not made by her mother but by the cooks and servants, who were New Children. Emery was also a genius; born two months premature in the month of December, she had an affinity for learning and soaking up information. She liked learning, and even as a baby she had a knack for writing. She had a private collection of stories, written in scribbles that she somehow managed to read exactly the same, every time she read them.
She got along splendidly with her brother, Nick, who was twelve years older than her and often babysat her when their parents went out. When she got older, they began to play games – video games, which Emery found that she adored, particularly the ancient arcade-style ones. They were especially fun when she figured out how to cheat and push her way to the “high score chart”, and seeing her brother’s face when a little girl beat him was priceless.
At age seven, her brother was bitten by a Remnant. Her father, mother, brother, and herself were all taking a walk in park of the Eastern district, when man lunged toward Emery, headfirst. She was confused, not understanding by the man with pointy teeth would want to bite her, and she didn’t move out of the way, assuming that the man would stop or that he was simply playing. Her brother jumped in front of her, and was bitten on his wrist. The Remnant was taken into custody, and before they could take Nick as well, he ran off, and that was the last time Emery ever saw him.
The nickname “Stitch” came to be when her mother attempted to teach her how to sew clothing. Namely, pants. Supposedly, it was simple; her mother managed to produce a perfect article of clothing in less than fifteen minutes. In around thirty minutes, Emery managed to produce a spectacular mess of tangled fabric and thread, and her fingers were riddled with nail pricks. Her mother decided to move to something simpler, something like stitching up holes; that was also a remarkable failure, and somehow the nickname “Stitch” stuck. It also proved as a reminder that while she was a very smart little girl, she wasn’t very good with her hands.
But she was not just a little girl. She was a little girl with ambition. By age twelve she managed to secure herself a spot in Parliament, simply because of her brains and affinity to “what was right”. Justice.

Anything Else?: Nothing other than, perhaps, the fact that she is a very huggy and affectionate person. Meaning she’ll just about have a conversation with anyone anywhere anytime. And proceed to hug them and cuddle with them. Also, just because she is a member of Parliament doesn’t mean that she is any different from a child. She is still a little girl, at heart. And we all know that important organizations need little kids.
